Come join CAIR-TX Austin/DFW in our first Austin Black History Tour. You will tour multiple sites east the I-35 where Black people were once unjustly segregated.
What: 1.6-mile walking Black History Tour
When: 9-10 am, Saturday Morning, Jun 24th
Where: Meet up at Dedrick Hamilton House
Who: Tour Guide will be Br. Darwin Hamilton, a local African American historian
Why: Because history has been written by the oppressors and we need to learn the truth from its people.
